Bethel Ministry Update - April 3, 2020

Bethel Family,

We're approaching Holy Week, one of the most significant seasons in the Church. It's weird to think that we won't be gathering in person on Palm Sunday, Maundy Thursday or Good Friday. HOWEVER, as you'll notice below, we will gather in the parking lot, in our cars, on Easter Sunday! This will be a really special moment! So, keep reading...
This week, we have FOUR (4) things for you:

1. PALM SUNDAY
We will be worshiping together online again this week (April 5)If you see the worship service on Facebook, please “Share” it so more people can get connected!
Also, let’s make our own palm branches! CLICK HERE to watch a video of Jenny talking about this. Let’s gather online on Sunday by sharing photos of our palm branches! USE #mybethelpalmsunday and TAG "Bethel Lutheran Church"

2. HOLY WEEK VIDEOS
Our pastors will provide daily video devotionals, which will include and worship music, for each day of Holy Week. All these videos will be available on our website at bethellutheran.church/stream. You can also sign up to receive them here: http://eepurl.com/gWs-8z.

3. DRIVE-IN Easter Sunday & Parade! (Times to be determined)
Yes, drive-In Worship Services and a Neighborhood Parade in both Fergus Falls (Bethel parking lot) and Battle Lake (Battle Lake School parking lot) on Easter!
Picture this! Pastors, vocalists, and instrumentalists on a raised platform; a parking lot full of worshippers; car radios tuned to an FM station to hear what’s being sung and spoken! It might be the most unique Easter service we’ve ever done!Want to add to the celebration and have some fun? Decorate your car for Easter helping announce that HE IS RISEN! Plus, you’ll be ready for the parade.A parade is planned following each worship service through surrounding neighborhoods. More information will be coming.

4. Blessing Blitz - Opportunity to love our teachers!
Each week, we'll encourage Bethel Church to send a note of appreciation, encouragement, or prayer to a group of heroes in our community.
This week we want to bless our School Teachers and Administration.
Send your letters, drawings, and notes to an individual or general staff at the following schools.See the attachment (PDF file) for mailing addresses of local schools. The following links will take you to staff listings on their websites:We will suggest another group next week.

We look forward to worshiping with you this Sunday and during Holy Week!

Thank you!
