Bethel Update - June 12, 2020

Thanks for being a blessing and hope to your neighbors as Bethel has been MAKING ROOM for our community during the last few months!

By the way, if you attend Bethel Fergus Falls worship, we have noticed that the 10:30 AM service is nearing capacity in the sanctuary (with social distancing), and is nearly double the attendance of the 9:00 AM service. If you're able and willing, would you consider attending the 9:00 AM service on Sunday? We have plenty of space for anyone who attends either service since we can use the foyer and our overflow area in the Fireside Room. However, it would be most ideal for everyone who comes to be able to worship in the sanctuary.

SUNDAY WORSHIP

Online: bethellutheran.church/stream (Also stream on the mobile app and Facebook).
Indoors: Bethel Fergus Falls sanctuary / 9:00 & 10:30 AM (Masks are encouraged but not required)
Outdoors: Bethel Battle Lake / 10:30 AM (Behind Lakes Area Community Center)

We have three (3) more things we want you to know:

COMMUNION
This Sunday (June 14), Bethel will offer communion at Bethel Fergus Falls and Bethel Battle Lake during our worship services. This is an exciting step to be able to receive communion together! Please note the following:

The elders will not be passing the plates
The communion wafer and juice will be in a special sealed container

INSPIRATION POINT CAMP (Two opportunities)

A Bethel "Family Getaway" Weekend (limited spaces) // August 14-16 (Scholarships available!)
Bethel has blocked off a number of spaces for Family Getaway at Inspiration Point for August 14-16. You won't be able to send kids to camp, but you can go as a family!
SIGN UP, as you usually would through I-Point, and apply for a SCHOLARSHIP through Bethel Church.
>> Consider contributing to Bethel's Heart for Camp fund to help Bethel offer more scholarships - Simply note "Heart for Camp" in your giving
Camp in a Box // Since I-Point's DAY CAMP won't be able to take place this year, Bethel will be offering I-Point's "Camp in a Box" at a discounted price (Price TBD). Jenny Mathiesen (Dir. of Children's Ministries) is working on a plan to provide boxes to Bethel students, and you can sponsor a student for the full price of $55. Doing this will bless families and support I-Point.
