Weekly Update - July 30, 2020

Bethel Church,

The past few weeks have been a wild ride. Thank you for your patience, your grace, and your commitment to the mission of Bethel Church. We will continue to proclaim the message of Jesus Christ so that people come to faith in Jesus and live for Him!

Today, we want you to know about Sports Camp, worship services, and the impact of your giving.

SPORTS CAMP in Battle Lake & Fergus Falls

• Battle Lake: August 2-3, 6-8 PM (Battle Lake Public School)
• Fergus Falls: August 11-12, 6-8 PM (Bethel Fergus Falls)
• REGISTER: bethellutheran.church/kids

Sports Camp will be held outside and in a way that meets the standards of safety during the COVID-19 pandemic. Protocols of capped group numbers, safety procedures with pre-packaged snacks, and handwashing will all be in place. We pray that the message of the GOSPEL will be heard and held in the hearts of the kids that will be at Sports Camp.

WORSHIP SERVICES

• Online: Facebook, website and mobile app (starting at 9 AM)
• Fergus Falls:
  - Thursdays, 6:00 PM (outdoors, face masks are optional)
  - Sunday, 9:00 & 10:30 AM (indoors, face masks expected)
• Battle Lake: Sunday, 10:30 AM (outdoors, face masks are optional)

YOUR IMPACT THROUGH GIVING
Bethel Church, thank you for your generous giving over the last few months. We are blessed to have been able to...

1. provide lunches for our schools, law enforcement, front-line workers while supporting local restaurants (All in Fergus Falls and Battle Lake).
2. lead our community in conversation around the impact of COVID-19 on mental health, small businesses, and community action, followed by a candid conversation about race relations and unrest in America's cities. (See: bethellutheran.church/strongertogether) 
3. send over $11,000 to our partner churches and organizations in Ensenada, Mexico (Exciting reports will be coming on how that was used by the churches)!
4. schedule individuals from our Bethel family to support some of our elderly by buying groceries and helping with various tasks.
5. prepare for fall worship ministry by renovating our current sanctuary
