PURSUE GOD

PURSUE GOD is a library of Bible-based conversation starters designed to help Christians make disciples.
Bethel Church has identified disciple-making as a priority and has partnered with PursueGod to offer our congregation a tool to disciple others.
PursueGod believes disciple-making should be something every Christian can do, and that’s why they have designed their tools around having simple conversations. Each topic in their library has a short video along with talking points and discussion questions. Just find a topic, share it with family, friends, or a small group, and invite others into a life-changing conversation.
This page will give you an overview of the Pursue God resource. Below is an image to help you understand how it works.
The Process
We've created a simple pathway to help you go "full circle" with a group or mentor. We call it the "3E" process:
  1. Engage: Start talking about the "Featured Topics" below, choosing whatever interests you.
  2. Establish: When ready, start "The Pursuit" (see below) to get established in a "full circle" faith.
  3. Empower: After you finish "The Pursuit," look outward and help someone else pursue God.

The Pursuit

Below are the first three videos of the Pursuit. The Pursuit journey will walk you through what it means to have a relationship with Jesus and help you establish a "full circle of faith." Visit the Pursue God website to take the full journey.

Help someone else pursue God.

After you finish "The Pursuit," look outward and help someone else pursue God.
If you don’t feel qualified to make disciples, just answer two simple questions: (1) Have you trusted Jesus? and (2) Are you honoring God in your daily life?

The greatest thing you can do in life is to help someone pursue God. Here are your next steps:
  • Step 1: Make a list of people who could use your help, and start praying for God to open the door to a mentoring relationship.
  • Step 2: Pick a topic or category that would engage someone on your list, and send it out with a simple invitation to talk.
